Grief or nostalgia?
I am in my late 20s and have been to more than 15 funerals.
Welcome to Rosie Thoughts. A space for myself but if somebody stumbles across us and enjoys my style of writing please stay.
I have a lot of opinions with the occasional story.
I've always enjoyed writing from being very young. Every child has a very imaginative brain but I think I took it further, to the extreme. I would rewrite books I read to make the endings how I would prefer; makeup intricate lies in the form of a story which were painfully untrue but I loved yapping on with myself. Once convincing my class I had seen real fairies in the park near my home with details of how each looked, names included.
The older I got the more into writing more detailed pieces. Fanfiction had a big place in my heart as it does most nerdy teenagers, writing love stories about my favourite bands and actors was the usual weekend plans. The odd poem here, towards my friends and loved ones because why not?
Then I got to adulthood, more shy and nervous about my writing skills even though it has always been a dream to have anything published. I have incomplete books saved to my laptop, pencil scribblings gathering dust on my desks, so many notes with ideas and ramblings on my phone. 2026 is the year I'm not scared anymore so here is a blog with all my inner thoughts.

I started writing this back in July after I had lost my job and was still living with my ex boyfriend - I am in a much better place now mentally (and physically) but I still wanted to post this piece.
